This project consisted of the renovation of two existing buildings that were previously occupied by the City of Turlock into a new Power Operations Building and Water Distribution Building for the Turlock Irrigation District. The two buildings required significant renovations, including replacing and raising the roof structure to provide clear span spaces and additional height on the inside for the Power Control Center’s video display wall.
The new open office environment is surrounded by support spaces such as focus rooms, a new Irrigation Control room, fitness center, break and locker rooms, and new conference rooms. Both buildings were designed to optimize energy efficiency, conserve resources, and reduce long-term maintenance costs for the District.
