The Dennis & Janice Caprara Community Center Complex will provide space dedicated to a public library, community hall, fitness center, commercial kitchen, and teen innovation lab and lounge. This program will be divided in to two “C” shaped buildings – building “A”, approximately 10,000SF and building “B”, approximately 8,900SF. The two buildings will form a courtyard that features an amphitheater, play/discovery area, seating, and outdoor classrooms. The buildings are both single-story and are sited to nestle into the neighborhood context with large, glazed corners that amplify the connection to the community. The community center is supported by 90 vehicular parking spaces and 15 short term bike racks.
