SACRAMENTO – Allison Otto, President & CEO of Otto Construction, was recognized by the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce as the Businesswoman of the Year at the 129th Annual Dinner & Business Awards held on January 19, 2024. Every year, the event honors exemplary businesses and leaders in the Sacramento region. This award is especially significant since Allison’s father, Carl Otto, was recognized as Businessman of the Year in 2006 and Otto Construction was inducted into the Business Hall of Fame in 2008. Otto Construction was founded in Sacramento in 1947 and has been a member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber for 62 years. “I hope my legacy at Otto is to provide all of our employees the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed,” says Allison. “I know for an absolute fact that my dad and grandpa would be so proud of this woman-owned, 3rd generation, 77-year-old business started in the back of a pickup truck in 1947.” Under Allison’s leadership Otto Construction is embarking on our biggest year ever, and we are excited for the future as we continue to build our region.
