Project Description

The scope of work consisted of the demolition of the 48-year-old Alva P. Taylor Hall at CSU Chico and the construction of a new 91,000SF Arts and Humanities Replacement Building to accommodate the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The new Arts & Humanities Building for is a four story, 91,000SF classroom building with labs, lecture halls, and performing arts. Otto Construction was heavily involved in the preconstruction phase, collaborating with the Architect on the design, constructability, cost and schedule of the project and developing a Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal for the project.
